- Title: Polynomially convex sets in C^n
- Speaker: Dr. Thomas
Pawlaschyk
(Universität
Wuppertal)
- Abstract: I will give a talk about polynomially convex sets in the complex Euclidean space. At first, I will give the definition of this type of
convexity in the bounded case and motivate their study. Then I will present alternative characterizations of polynomially convex sets, give some examples and interesting properties. I close my talk by introducing
unbounded polynomially convex sets.
