- Title: Informal introduction to Bridgeland stability

- Abstract : In this talk, I will describe the basic geometry of the Hilbert scheme of points on the plane. I will discuss the ample and effective cones and how to run the minimal model program and give interpretations to the models in terms of moduli spaces of Bridgeland stable objects. This is joint work with Arcara, Bertram and Huizenga.
