- Title : Calabi-Yau threefolds of quotient type - Speaker :Kenji Hashimoto(KIAS) - Date & Time : 23 Nov , 2012 (Fri) 14:00~15:00 - Place : Math Science Building room 404 - Abstract : A Calabi-Yau threefold of quotiont type is a Calabi-Yau threefold which is realized as the quotient of an abelian variety or the direct product of an elliptic curve and a K3 surface by a finite group action without fixed point. Calabi-Yau threefolds of quotient type were studied by Oguiso and Sakurai. We will discuss about Calabi-Yau threefolds of quotient type of the latter case, especially their classification. |
